Daily Launch: PC Games (20 Oct 2017)

Hello and welcome to the Daily Launch on October 20, 2017. In this series, we inform you about all the latest PC games that are getting launched today. So, without further ado, let’s hop right into it.

The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk

  • Genre: Point-and-Click Adventure
  • Developers: Studio Fizbin
  • Price: $24.99 (Steam)

The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk is the sequel to the 2013 game The Inner World. That being said, you can enjoy the game without knowing anything about the first one.

The Last Wind Monk features an engaging and fun story, set in the colourful world of Asposia. You will take control over Rober, heir to the flute nose throne, as he embarks on a journey to find the last wind monk.

Studio Fizbin promises us “hours of fun brainteasers.” And if the first game is anything to go by, we’re inclined to believe they will deliver.

Marinatide

  • Genre: Strategy/Adventure
  • Developers: Viistopro
  • Price: $4.99 (Steam)

Marinatide is a game that isn’t exactly new, considering it has spent some time in Early Access. However, its official release is today, so we are counting it.

It is a game about fishing. Unlike other fishing simulators, though, it will have you play from an isometric perspective, as you sail your boat around and catch various sea critters.

Marinatide also features side activities, such as quest, island exploration, as well as garbage collection for the eco-friendly gamers out there.

Bomsy

  • Genre: Multiplayer Brawler/Platformer
  • Developers: SUPERMEGAQUEST INC.
  • Price: TBA (Steam)

Bomsy is a 2D side-scrolling arena brawler for up to six players. It comes with both online and local multiplayer, which makes it great for a party game.

In Bomsy, players will not find overpowered shotguns and rocket launchers. Instead, there are only bombs and destructible terrain. The goal is to get your opponents outside the map’s boundaries.

There are also multiple game modes with bots for some of them, 7 different maps, and over 70 different layouts to play with.
