Sony officially announced the PlayStation VR Skyrim VR bundle, which will launch on 17th November.
As explained in the PlayStation Blog, the Skyrim bundle will launch with a PSVR headset and a copy of Skyrim VR. The copy of Skyrim included will also come with the Hearthfire, Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC. The bundle will also launch with two PlayStation Move controllers and a PlayStation Camera. Finally, the bundle will come with an updated PSVR demo disc from 13 different PSVR titles.
This copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the full-length open-world game which we were introduced to in 2011.
The PlayStation VR Skyrim Bundle will launch alongside the game on 17th November in the U.S. for $449.99 USD and in Canada for $579.99 CAD.
Sony have also announced this bundle will come with the updated PS VR system. The updated system comes with a revised design that enables the stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset. Furthermore, the updated PSVR will include a greatly slimmer, streamlined connection cable and a new Processor Unit that supports HDR.
This isn’t the only game Bethesda are looking to bring to VR. Bethesda announced at E3 2016, Doom will be getting a VR version. Doom VR will launch on 1st December for PSVR and HTC Vive.
Fallout 4 VR landed in October exclusively on the HTC Vive. Therefore, with Bethesda dipping their toes into Virtual Reality, could this mean we could get a Wolfenstein VR experience?
