Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Trailer Might Debut At E3
You’d be forgiven if you have all but forgotten about Cyberpunk 2077. The game by the developers behind The Witcher series was announced all the way back in 2013. Since then, not a lot of info has reached the general public. In fact, up until recently, there was no info coming on the game at all, making some people believe that it became vaporware. However, a Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer could make a debut at E3 this year. Just as a reminder, the expo will take place between June 12 and June 14, 2018.
According to the Polish website GRYOnline [Google Translate], this was confirmed by two independent sources. The outlet also claims that there will be a demo available at the expo. However, the press will see it behind closed doors. Apparently, the demo is playable, but there is no information whether journalists will get to try it themselves, or will the event be a hands-off showcase only. GRYOnline also mentions a previous report by a YouTube user, known only as LegacyKillaHD. According to that YouTuber, Sony received an early tech demo of Cyberpunk 2077 recently.
As for the gameplay trailer, rumours claim that it will show up at one of the big pre-expo conferences. This means that it will probably a part of a giant’s press event. Microsoft and Sony are obviously the two big names that we would bet on.
However, do take these reports with a pinch of salt. Rumours in the gaming industry often turn out to be just that. For all we know, the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer could take a couple more years before it reaches us.
