Pathfinder: Kingmaker Release Date Announced

The second ever Pathfinder video game, Pathfinder: Kingmaker got its announcement all the way back in May of last year. And up until now, a release date was nowhere in sight. Today, however, Owlcat Games put an end to that with a brand new press release. Rejoice, RPG fans, as Pathfinder: Kingmaker will be released on PC quite soon – on September 25, 2018. Other than the release date, we also received two brand new trailers. You can find them down below, as we have embedded them for your convenience.

What’s more, players can pre-order Pathfinder: Kingmaker right now via Steam or GOG. If you head on over to either of the two stores, though, you will notice that there are several different editions of the game. Each of them comes with a different tier of content and extra loot, as follows:

  • Explorer Edition: This includes just the base game itself.
  • Noble Edition: It comes with two extra in-game items, a digital art book, a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack, and two more in-game player portraits (one for each gender).
  • Royal Edition: This one builds on top of the Noble Edition and adds a digital adventure module, a digital map of the Stolen Lands, and a Red Panda in-game pet.
  • Imperial Edition: This further expands the extra loot with a Season Pass for the game.

In case you are not familiar with the game, let us give you a brief rundown. It is based on the massively popular Pathfinder tabletop RPG and it will include lots of content from that, alongside some brand new additions to the IP. Players can start their own kingdom by claiming newly-discovered locations around the Stolen Lands. So, not only will your abilities as the people’s hero will be tested, but you will also have an entire domain to manage in your name.
